| COCIR’s partner organisation in the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">United States</st1:place></st1:country-region>, the medical division of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) has changed its name to show its focus on the medical sector. The new name – Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA) – will profile them more obviously as the voice for the American medical imaging equipment industry. But MITA is still part of NEMA.
