Six ASEAN Medical Device Industry Associations Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Co-operate to Support Growth and Advancement of Medical Device Industry

Singapore, 12 September 2012 - Six associations, namely Thai Medical Device Technology Industry Association, Philippine Association of Medical Device Regulatory Affairs Professionals, Association of Malaysian Medical Industries, Malaysia Medical Device Association, Association of Medical Device Industry (Singapore) and Medical Technology Industry Group of Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation, representing the interests of the medical device industry in the ASEAN area, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Singapore on 12 September 2012. 

 

This a major step in strengthening the cooperation of the medical device industry in the region and enhancing the importance of the harmonisation of medical device regulations.
